Get your Catrina outfit and face paint ready! 💀🌼
El Gallo Spanish Radio invites the entire community to celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in Conway, South Carolina, near Myrtle Beach, SC.
This is a celebration for all ages and the entire community. Come dressed as a Catrina or Catrín, wear traditional Día de los Muertos face paint, and help us fill the celebration with color, culture and Mexican tradition.
One of the most recognizable symbols associated with Día de los Muertos is La Catrina — the elegantly dressed skeleton often seen wearing beautiful clothing, elaborate hats, flowers and colorful face paint.
Today, Catrina-inspired clothing and makeup have become an important visual part of many Día de los Muertos celebrations.
You don’t need an elaborate costume to participate. Add some flowers, colorful clothing or traditional skull-inspired face paint and join the celebration!
You do not have to be Mexican or Hispanic to join us.
Día de los Muertos is an opportunity for our community to come together, learn about Mexican culture and honor the memories of loved ones who are no longer with us.
Bring your children. Bring your family. Bring your friends.

The celebration takes place in Conway, SC, making it convenient for families from Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, Socastee, Little River and communities throughout Horry County and the Grand Strand.
